lived in the North East her whole life. Now retired, she was actively involved in the voluntary sector through her work as a Development Officer with BDP and Aberdeen Foyer, and is currently a member of her local Community Council and Invercairn Community Improvement Group. Diane also worked as a lecturer at Banff and Buchan College of Further Eduction and as a trainer in the Oil &amp; Gas industry. Diane decided to become a volunteer with BDP as she has seen the difference reliable and appropriate support can make for communities, new start up groups or for established charities.Diane has awareness of projects and communities within Buchan. Diane also has a vast knowledge of BDP and BDI projects and experience of project planning and delivery, funding.<\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Derek Jennings:<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\">Derek Jennings has recently jointed BDP and BDI as a director. Derek is semi retired and is the director of a local PAT testing business. Prior to this, Derek worked offshore for 30 years and was most recently Area Authority on an oil and gas rig. Derek got involved with BDP through his involvement in Aden Country Park. Derek is involved with many groups and organisations across Buchan including: vice chair or the Book of Deer Project, Committee member of the Buchan Field Club and President of Central Buchan Rotary.<br \/>As well as having lots of local knowledge, Derek is very hands on and assists with all practical tasks.<\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Sheila Dargie:<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\">Sheila Dargie has recently jointed BDP and BDI as a director. Sheila is retired and previously worked as a social worker. As the current chair person of the Friends of Aden Sheila became involved with BDP through her involvement in Aden Country Park.<br \/>Sheila is also the volunteer organiser of the Mintlaw Health Walks. Through her involvement with Aden Country Park Sheila has volunteered at many BDP events in the past and is a trained first aider.<\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Lynn Smith<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Maureen Stephen<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-b87d7f0\" data-id=\"b87d7f0\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7e61123 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7e61123\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div><h4 style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">BDP Directors:<\/span><\/span><\/h4><p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\">Charlie Scott:<\/span><\/span><\/p><div><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Charlie is a retired teacher and head teacher. Charlie became involved with BDI and BDP by initially becoming involved with BDI. Charlie was a member of the support group before becoming a director after helping out at the caravan park when the warden did a \u201cmoonlight flit. Charlie then joined as a director of BDP and became chairperson.<\/span><\/div><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight ); font-size: 1rem;\">Charlie is currently on the Strichen Community Park Committee, Chair person of the Aden Allotments and a member of the Friends of Aden.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\">Colin Simpson:<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Colin Simpson presently serves as an Aberdeenshire councillor and has been involved with BDP and BDI for many years. Prior to becoming a local councillor Colin worked as a Scientific Technician at the Rowett Research Institute, an Open University Tutor, Community Education Literacies Tutor and held Various roles with Aberdeen Foyer and Aberdeenshire Council. Colin also worked for an MSP in the office and has been involved with youth clubs for many years.<br \/>Colin became involved with BDP\/ BDI through his involvement with Mintlaw and District Community Council, Buchan Community Farm and the Book of Deer Project.<br \/>Buchan Community Farm where I am a director and volunteer. Trustee of Book of Deer Project. Sheila is retired and previously worked as a social worker. As the current chair person of the Friends of Aden Sheila became involved with BDP through her involvement in Aden Country Park.<br \/>Sheila is also the volunteer organiser of the Mintlaw Health Walks. Through her involvement with Aden Country Park Sheila has volunteered at many BDP events in the past and is a trained first aider.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: bolder;\"><span style=\"color: #97a0cb;\">Derek Jennings:<\/span><\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Derek Jennings has recently jointed BDP and BDI as a director. Derek is semi retired and is the director of a local PAT testing business. Prior to this, Derek worked offshore for 30 years and was most recently Area Authority on an oil and gas rig. Derek got involved with BDP through his involvement in Aden Country Park. Derek is involved with many groups and organisations across Buchan including: vice chair or the Book of Deer Project, Committee member of the Buchan Field Club and President of Central Buchan Rotary.<br \/>As well as having lots of local knowledge, Derek is very hands on and assists with all practical tasks.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight:
